About Zachary

Zachary Warnick is a musician, arranger, composer, and educator based in northern Utah. He developed a love for the piano at age 7 and began studying jazz and music production in high school, where he won a YoungArts award in 2022 in the singer/songwriter category. He is currently a sought out contemporary keys player and active collaborator within the Utah scene.

Zachary is an experienced live performer, having played at venues and festivals including  Velour Live Music Gallery, Kilby Court, Pearl on Main, Tulip Festival, and Tedfest. He has been featured in house bands for Jazz Jams in and around the Salt Lake City area, and can be seen playing at various establishments. He is the Keyboardist for Kenya Clark, where he demonstrates his stylistic versatility playing piano, electric keys, and synths. He is also a member of the local band Calling Card, a group that draws on styles like rock, pop, jazz, and R&B, and can be heard playing all of the keyboard parts on their self titled commercial release from 2025, Calling Card

Zachary has studied under prolific industry professionals, namely Anthony Elison, David Ian Baker, Ryan Tilby, and Melanie Shore. He is additionally in his final year of an undergraduate degree in Commercial Music at Utah Valley University. While attending he has played and completed arrangements for various commercial ensembles and the UVU Jazz Orchestra and Jazz Combo.
